18 - AIA Grand Valley, Michigan Chapter. Rob Peña, Vice President and
Director of Consulting with VA will give a talk entitled "ECO-LOGIC
Design." The presentation will include a brief history of the firm and
its approach to ecological design. Founding partner Sim Van der Ryn calls
this approach ECO-LOGIC Design, a process aimed at minimizing
environmentally destructive impacts by integrating with natural systems.
